19.05.2017

Gustavo Gimeno will return to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra for two concerts at the Symphony Hall Birmingham on 24 and 25 May. The programme features Mozart's "Paris Symphony" and Schumann's Symphony No. 1 as well as Dvorák's cello concerto with Daniel Müller-Schott as soloist.

Only one day later on 26 May the orchestra under the baton of Gustavo Gimeno will guest at the Semperoper Dresden. During the concert, which is part of the Dresden Music Festival, Dvorák's cello concerto will be replaced with Benjamin Britten's Symphony for Cello and Orchestra featuring the festival's director and cellist Jan Vogler.
