15.06.2016

André de Ridder will make his debut with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam, conducting two concerts on 16th and 17th June.

The performances form part of Holland Festival’s AAA Festival ‘pop-art’, dedicated to the encounter between pop artist and symphony orchestra. These concerts will see American pop artist Son Lux performing works together with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, joined by Soprano Claron McFadden. In addition to works by Son Lux, the programme will include the Dutch premiere of Andrew Norman’s Unstuck, Charles Ives’ Three Places in New England and George Crumb’s Star-Child.
