On Wednesday 8 November, Alain Altinoglu makes his debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, returning to London’s Royal Festival Hall with a programme of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Schumann’s Violin Concerto with violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja, and Beethoven’s Symphony No.3 (Eroica).

Alain Altinolgu, Patricia Kopatchinskaja and the London Philharmonic Orchestra will then embark on a six-date European tour, performing in Antwerp, Vienna, Freiburg, Friedrichshafen, Stuttgart and Munich from Thursday 9 to Wednesday 15 November. The tour programme includes pieces performed in London, Ravel’s Tombeau de Couperin, Stravinsky’s Violin Concerto and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 (Pathétique).
